i've really enjoyed maintaining this blog over the past few months, and would like to thank everyone for swinging by and taking a look. i hope 2005 is a great year for each and every one of you.
now that january has finally arrived, i'm happy to say that i can begin the 'real' countdown in earnest. only seven days till i fill my little backpack with all my worldly possessions, climb on an aeroplane and wave goodbye to my family and friends for what could be a very long time.
i hope i like it in the UK. i hope i manage to find a stimulating job, and good friends. i hope i don't get too homesick. i hope the weather doesn't disagree with me too much. i hope i hope i hope!

7 days?!? I didn't realise it was so soon! So, when r we catching up before you leave? Is there a gathering in the pipeline or do you have time to catch-up/say-goodbye properly before u go? :(
i'm not having drinks or anything - hate those big goodbye scenes, but have put a night aside for you, so i guess sometime this week. maybe tuesday or wednesday?
