"Hi all

Just wanted raise the topic of organ donation. Australia has one of the worst organ donor rates in the developed world and I think we can do better. I'm sure a lot of you actually would like to donate your organs, but some of you may not know that you can no longer request to be an organ donor through your driver's licence (in WA at least).

If you wish to register your intent to donate you need to do so with the Australian Organ Donor Register. I don't mind if people have a moral, ethical, spiritual or religious standpoint against organ donation, I just want you all to have a think about it and maybe check out some information.

If you're still keen, and I hope you are, then please register - it doesn't take long. Don't forget to talk to your partner/family about it so they too know your wishes (and who knows, maybe they'll want to register too).

No-one has asked me to do this, I just feel it's important, so have a think about it. "
