do you remember the million dollar homepage, where some bright spark sold pixels for a dollar each, making him a very very rich puppy? well, he's doing it again, but this time he wants to make YOU rich too. he'll sell pixels at twice the price and put half the money in a million dollar lottery, to be won by a random visitor.

this guy is such a canny businessman - not only will he sell space, but he'll generate a load of traffic and ensure that people actually look at the ads. if only our aforementioned academic could think of a meme like that. it would spread pretty quickly. better yet, why doesn't he measure this one? it's early days, there's heaps of space left...(at least there was when i looked).
